Garena Indonesia Country Head Hans Saleh assessed that the national gaming ecosystem has shown good progress in recent years, marked by the emergence of diverse works and the regeneration of new developers in the country.
"So, we see that there has been progress. Because, for example, if we look at the past two years until now, one of the things that has improved is the diversity of games," Hans said when met at the Indonesia Game Developer Exchange (IGDX) game publisher and developer meeting in Badung, Bali, Friday.
He said that now more and more local development studios are exploring various game genres and no longer following the same trend.
"The games are becoming more diverse. So we're seeing the developers' capabilities are also becoming more diverse. It's not just a popular game, where everyone is developing the same game," he said.
