The Ministry of Communication and Digital has collaborated with regional vocational schools (SMK) to prepare digital human resources (HR) capable of managing infrastructure in areas where the Internet Village program is being implemented.
Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy Office in Jakarta on Thursday, said that local human resources can be empowered to ensure the sustainability of the digital infrastructure that the government has built in the Internet Village.
"Once the infrastructure is in place, maintenance is certainly required . It's impossible to do all of the maintenance remotely. Therefore, there must be staff in the village or area who can supervise, maintain, and operate it," said Bonifasius.
