X Platform closes the account of the "Global Resilience Fleet"

The Global Resilience Fleet's account has become unavailable on the social media platform X, coinciding with the outbreak of a wave of protests in several countries around the world in support of the fleet.

When attempting to access the fleet's official page via the platform, a message appears stating that no such account exists, raising questions about the reasons for its deactivation at this sensitive time.

Protests in support of the flotilla erupted in several countries around the world, with demonstrations taking place in the streets of Italy, Britain, Germany, France, Tunisia, Greece, Turkey, and Spain. Demonstrators raised slogans denouncing the blockade and calling for freedom of movement and humanitarian support for Gaza.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement Thursday afternoon that what it described as the "provocation" related to the "Resilience Flotilla"'s attempt to break the Gaza blockade had ended, noting that none of the participating ships had been able to enter the area of active combat operations.

The ministry added that the Israeli Navy intercepted several of the flotilla's ships, redirecting them to an Israeli port. It also confirmed that Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg and the other flotilla members are safe and in good health.
