The Denver Nuggets are confirmed to be without their star player, Aaron Gordon, for the remainder of the 2025-2026 NBA season due to a hamstring injury in his right leg.
The NBA website said on Monday that the Nuggets were devastated by the loss of their mainstay forward.
"Yeah, he's going through a tough time," said Denver Nuggets coach David Adelman.
He said Gordon is still considering various best recovery options and the team continues to support his recovery process.
"We wanted to make sure he got the right treatment and we took the right steps," the coach said.
Edelman added that the medical team stated that Gordon would undergo a re-evaluation in the next four to six weeks and further updates on his condition would be provided as needed.
Gordon only appeared for three minutes when the Nuggets beat the Houston Rockets .
