Indonesian women's tennis players Aldila Sutjiadi and Janice Tjen are currently undergoing pre-season training to prepare for the 2026 season.
Aldila said that the training, which will last for two weeks on the Island of the Gods, is also preparation for the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, which will take place on December 9-20, 2025.
"We started training in Bali yesterday, so we'll be training here for two weeks. This is also in preparation for the SEA Games, and yes, we're training in Bali to experience a different atmosphere than in Jakarta," Aldila told ANTARA via instant message on Tuesday.
"Because we also have free time so we can go to the beach or go sightseeing in Bali, so we deliberately held this pre-season in Bali."
Aldila concluded the 2025 season by winning the Chennai Open in India with Janice earlier this month. They then took a week-long vacation to Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, and then a week in Jakarta before undergoing pre-season training in Bali.
