Basketball player Avan Seputra has officially ended his long association with Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung, after 13 years strengthening the team in the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL).
The IBL website, Tuesday, stated that the club confirmed the departure of the player from Surabaya today, marking the end of Avan's journey, which is synonymous with the team whose uniform is predominantly blue.
Avan joined Satria Muda on September 25, 2012, after graduating from IPH Surabaya and appearing with the Indonesian national u-18 basketball team.
In that age group, he played alongside a number of other national basketball stars, such as Kevin Yonas, Kristian Liem, and Laurentius Steven Oei. Since then, Avan has developed into one of the most consistent and loyal players in the club's history.
For more than a decade, the shooting guard has been a key part of Satria Muda's journey, including the transition from the NBL to the IBL.
