Ana/Trias ensure an all-Indonesian final at the 2025 Australian Open

Indonesian women's doubles pair Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari or Ana/Trias secured an all-Indonesian final after defeating Japanese representatives Ririna Hiramoto/Kokona 19-21, 21-11, 21-12 in the semifinals of the 2025 Australian Open at Quaycentre, Sydney, Saturday.

Ana/Trias followed fellow Indonesian representatives Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum who qualified first after defeating United States representatives Francesca Corbett/Jennie Gai.

Ana/Trias fell behind in the first game due to poor defense and returns.

However, both of them were able to improve it to score two wins in the next two games.

"In the second and third games, we tried to improve that and also increase our attacks," said Ana.

She admitted that she was very happy to achieve victory to create an "All Indonesian Final" in the women's doubles, especially with Trias, who is a new partner.

"This is a very important achievement after yesterday, when we had quite a bit of difficulty getting through to the final round," he said.

Meanwhile, Trias was also grateful to have made it to the final round of the first Super 500.

"Tomorrow (in the final) I want to play relaxed, enjoy the match, and give it my all. I can't wait to meet my former partner, Rachel, in an official match," he said.
