Andrew Jung's only goal gave Persib Bandung a 1-0 victory over Dewa United in the Super League match at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung, Friday night.
The win lifted Persib to third place in the Super League standings with 22 points, while Dewa United remained in 14th place with 10 points.
Dewa United actually played more aggressively, but their chances were thwarted by the Maung Bandung back line.
Persib had their first golden opportunity in the 19th minute through Thom Haye's pass to Uilliam Barros in the penalty box, but Dewa United's back line blocked it for just a corner kick.
In the 30th minute, Saddil Ramdani's free kick forced Stevens into a save.
In the second half, Persib appeared dominant with repeated pressure on the opponent's defense.
