Indonesian rock climber Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi called his parents true heroes in his life.
According to the young athlete, without the role and prayers of his mother and father, he would not have been able to achieve various achievements that have brought honor to the name of the Indonesian nation and state on the international stage.
"For me, my mother and father are irreplaceable heroes. It's because of them that I've reached the level I'm at now. There are also many other figures behind them, such as my coaches, friends, and those closest to me. They're all heroes too," Robby said when contacted in Jakarta on Monday.
Antasyafi explained that the commemoration of Heroes' Day every November 10th is a momentum for him to reflect on the meaning of struggle and sacrifice.
He believes that heroic values are not only possessed by independence fighters, but can also be found in everyday life through the figures of parents and those closest to us who always provide support.
