Attending the Indonesia-Africa forum, Gibran conveyed greetings from Prabowo

   Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka conveyed warm greetings from President Prabowo Subianto to dozens of South African businessmen while attending the Indonesia-Africa CEO Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Friday.


Attending his first agenda on the sidelines of his working visit to South Africa, the Vice President attended a forum initiated by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).


"Good afternoon everyone. Warm greetings from President Prabowo to all of you, and also my deep appreciation to the South African government for their hospitality and excellent event organization," Gibran said, greeting the businesspeople.


Despite only arriving in Johannesburg an hour before the forum was held, Gibran admitted that he was very enthusiastic about attending the forum.




In his speech in English, Gibran conveyed that this cooperation forum was a major step in strengthening relations between Indonesia and South Africa and the commitment of both countries to expand collaboration.
