Barcelona has reportedly received an initial offer from Turkish club Besiktas for goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.
The German player is said to be Besiktas' main target to improve the team's declining performance.
According to a report by Diario Sport on Wednesday, Besiktas have made a loan offer until the end of the season.
In the proposal, the Istanbul club is also willing to cover ter Stegen's full salary and include a non-obligatory purchase option worth around 8 million euros (around Rp. 154.8 billion) in June.
Besiktas' keen interest in ter Stegen arose after the performances of their first-choice goalkeeper, Mert Gunok, were deemed unsatisfactory. They see ter Stegen as an ideal short-term and long-term solution.
Another factor that strengthens the chances of this transfer is the presence of Besiktas sporting director, Eduard Graf, who is from Germany and has a long track record at Borussia Dortmund.
His presence is believed to help convince ter Stegen to accept the opportunity to play regularly in the domestic league and the Europa League.
