By regularly facing opponents from outside Asia, the players will become accustomed to their mental and technical abilities," said Erick, as quoted in a written statement received by reporters on Saturday.
"This is a tough road, but also an opportunity to build a strong team ready to compete at the world level," he continued.
The FIFA Series is an official FIFA program that brings together national teams from different confederations in structured friendly matches.
