The Alumni Association of State Senior High School 4 Jakarta (HIMALS4) successfully held the Diamond Cup 4 Youth 2025, the first mini soccer tournament that brought together high school alumni from across Greater Jakarta.
The activity, which was held on Saturday (15/11) at Pendekar Goozone Field, CIBIS Park, Cilandak, Jakarta, was officially opened by the Secretary of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports (Sesmenpora), Gunawan Suswantoro.
"This is the first of its kind in Indonesia, a mini-soccer tournament for high school alumni. The Diamond Cup 4 Youth reflects the spirit of community sports that we are promoting throughout Indonesia," said Gunawan, as quoted in a written statement received by reporters on Wednesday.
"High school alumni have the potential to be a driving force for an active lifestyle, sportsmanship, and social solidarity. We hope that activities like this can be expanded and serve as inspiration for other alumni communities," he continued.
This inaugural tournament featured 24 high school alumni teams from Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. The matches were designed with a professional approach, including statistical analysis of players' playing time, shots on goal, assists, and tackles.
