Indonesian surfers dominated the semifinals of the World Surf League Qualifying Series (QS) 2000 Manokwari Pro at Petrus Kafiar Beach, Amban, Manokwari, West Papua, Friday.
Ketut Agus secured a place in the semifinals after beating compatriot Westen Hirst in Heat 1 of the quarterfinals with a score of 13.34 points compared to 9.83 points.
In the final four, Saturday (29/11), Agus will meet I Made Ariyana who collected a score of 11.83 points, more than I Nyoman Artana with 10.37 to reach the semifinals.
Last year, Agus finished second in his first QS after recovering from a six-month injury.
