Jafar/Felisha are ready to perform freely in their debut at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

Indonesian mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu have confirmed they will be performing without any pressure in their debut at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

Jafar/Felisha revealed that their experience from previous tournaments, including their final appearance at the 2025 Australian Open BWF World Tour Super 500 last week, is crucial for their preparations for Southeast Asia's largest biennial sporting event.

"Appearing at the SEA Games, our first multi-event, we definitely want to play freely and have nothing to lose," said Felisha in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) received.

Jafar/Felisha had to settle for runner-up at the 2025 Australian Open after losing to Malaysian pair Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei 16-21, 11-21.

Throughout this season, Jafar/Felisha have shown positive results. They won one title at the 2025 Taipei Open Super 300. They also reached the semifinals three times, each at the Thailand Masters Super 300, the Asian Championships, and the China Open Super 1000.

This result also secured them a ticket to the BWF World Tour Finals, which brings together the world's top players.
