Marquez duo celebrate title in hometown

The Marquez duo, namely Ducati Lenovo racer Marc Marquez and Gresini Racing racer Alex Marquez, celebrated their title in their hometown of Cervera, Catalunya, Spain.

Marc celebrates his world championship title after being the best during the 2025 MotoGP season.

Meanwhile, Alex, who finished second, also won the Best Independent Driver award for the 2025 season.

"It's hard to express how we felt yesterday. Celebrating in a unique way and a very special year with a celebration in our hometown, an unforgettable moment," Marc Marquez wrote on his personal Instagram account on Monday.

The Marquez duo became the first sibling riders to achieve championship and runner-up results in the MotoGP class.

During the celebrations in his hometown of Cervera, Marc, who was still not allowed to ride because he was recovering from a shoulder injury, was given a ride by Alex on a Ducati Paniagle through the crowd of supporters.

Cervera, with a population of around 10,000, poured out to welcome the city's icons, Marc and Alex, who immediately celebrated by waving flags amidst the crowd of spectators.

The celebration was also attended by the official Ducati Lenovo and Gresini Racing teams. Moto2 champion Diogo Moreira and Moto3 rookie Maximo Quiles were also seen at the "Back2back" themed celebration.
