Knicks steal dramatic win in Dallas

The New York Knicks secured a dramatic 113-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks after Landry Shamet's decisive action in the final seconds ensured his team emerged from the pressure in the NBA match held in Dallas, Thursday WIB.

Shamet managed to pick up an offensive foul that ultimately nullified Dallas' last-second equalizer.

Knicks star Jalen Brunson, returning from a two-game absence with an ankle injury, scored 28 points.

Brunson hit a crucial free throw with 3.8 seconds left to give the Knicks a two-point lead before drama ensued on Dallas' final possession.

But the Mavericks' drive was halted when Brandon Williams, receiving an inbound from PJ Washington, drove to the rim and scored a layup with 0.7 seconds remaining, but the referee ruled he was charging Shamet and the point was disallowed.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Josh Hart had a solid performance off the bench with 16 points and 10 rebounds. This victory marked the Knicks' first road win in their last five games.

Dallas actually got a big contribution from its bench players with a total of 64 points, including 23 points from D'Angelo Russell and another 23 points from Naji Marshall.
