Luis Diaz has been banned for three Champions League matches by UEFA.

Bayern Munich winger Luis Diaz has been suspended for three Champions League matches following his red card against PSG, ruling him out of the matches against Arsenal, Sporting CP and Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

Diaz scored twice in Bayern's 2-1 win over PSG on November 4. However, he was sent off for a foul on Achraf Hakimi, who was later diagnosed with an ankle ligament injury and has not played since.

UEFA declared Diaz's violation a serious act of misconduct in its latest disciplinary decision, published on UEFA's official website. With this suspension, Diaz will not be eligible to return to action until Bayern's final league match against PSV Eindhoven on January 28 of next year.

Diaz will miss the trip to Arsenal on November 26, as well as the two home games against Sporting on December 9 and against USG on January 21, 2026.
