New martyrs in Gaza despite the ceasefire... and the resistance intends to hand over the body of an Israeli detainee today.

New martyrs in Gaza despite the ceasefire... and the resistance intends to hand over the body of an Israeli detainee today.

The ministry said in its daily statistical report on the number of Palestinian martyrs and wounded that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received during the past twenty-four hours "two martyrs; one of whom was pulled from under the rubble, and the other is new, in addition to the injury of 5 Palestinians," without indicating the circumstances of the Palestinian martyrdom or how the injuries occurred.

However, previous statements issued by the Government Media Office in Gaza and Hamas confirmed that Israel committed dozens of violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025.

According to the data, the Israeli violations include shelling and shooting at civilians while they are in areas located west of what is known as the "yellow line," while Israel admits to shooting at them on the pretext that they crossed the line.

The “yellow line” separates the areas where the occupation army is deployed, estimated at more than 50% of the area of the sector to the east, and the areas where Palestinians are allowed to move to the west.

In this context, the ministry said that since October 11, Israel has killed 260 Palestinians and injured 632 others, in violation of the agreement, and noted that the toll of Israeli genocide in Gaza has risen to 69,187 martyrs and 170,703 wounded.

She also confirmed that there were victims under the rubble of destroyed houses and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach them to rescue them.

In a related context, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and the al-Quds Brigades intend to hand over the body of an Israeli detainee , which was found in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, on Thursday evening.

In a statement, Al-Qassam said: “As part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal, the Al-Quds Brigades and the Al-Qassam Brigades will hand over the body of one of the occupation prisoners that was found today in the Moraj area, north of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip, at 8:00 PM Gaza time.”

Israel refuses to allow the entry of heavy machinery and equipment to lift tons of rubble to retrieve the bodies of Palestinians buried beneath it, while it is rushing to retrieve the bodies of its remaining prisoners in Gaza, as it has allowed the entry of limited equipment to accomplish the task.

According to the Government Media Office, Israel committed violations of the humanitarian protocol of the ceasefire agreement, including preventing the entry of "hundreds of heavy vehicles" to retrieve the bodies of Palestinians from under the rubble.

The office estimates that there are approximately 9,500 missing Palestinians, either under the rubble or whose fate remains unknown as a result of the Israeli genocide.

In addition to the victims, the two-year-long genocidal war waged by Israel, with American support, destroyed 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure in the sector, with initial losses reaching $70 billion.
