Young Indonesian doubles pair Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin have reaffirmed their ambition to win numerous titles after winning the 2025 BWF World Tour Super 500 Australian Open.
During the week, they performed impressively and finally in the final defeated fifth seed Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri 22-20, 10-21, 21-18 at Quaycentre, Olympic Boulevard, Sunday.
"Praise God, this proves that we can compete at the top level," said Raymond in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) received on Monday.
"We still have many goals ahead of us. Hopefully, we can consistently play our best, like we did here. We don't want this title to become a burden."
Joaquin said this victory was born from a long process and mature understanding as a couple.
