Xiaomi appears to be getting closer to releasing its flagship smartphone from its Redmi sub-brand, the Redmi Turbo 5, after securing an important certificate from the Chinese authority, namely 3C.
This smartphone is believed to debut as the world's first phone to use MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 chipset.
As reported by Gizmochina, Wednesday, the Redmi Turbo 5 is said to have the model number 2511FRT34C and has received certification from 3C.
The device had previously passed certification for its radio technology last month and with the new certification from 3C completing it, it is one step closer to launch.
