Russian weightlifter Georgy Miand won the gold medal in the European Junior Under-23 Championships, currently being held in the Albanian capital Tirana, in the over 110 kg weight category

Miand achieved three European junior records, lifting 173 kg in the snatch, 213 kg in the clean and jerk, and a total of 386 kg.

It is worth noting that the Russian weightlifters are participating in the European Junior Championships under 23 years of age, which will conclude today, Tuesday, in the Albanian capital, Tirana, as neutral athletes.
