Arteta was somewhat disappointed Arsenal failed to capitalize on Caicedo's red card

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was somewhat disappointed after his team failed to secure a win against Chelsea, despite the Blues playing with 10 men following Moises Caicedo's red card in the 38th minute.

In that match, Chelsea took the lead thanks to Trevoh Chalobah's goal in the 48th minute, before Arsenal equalized through Mikel Merino's goal in the 59th minute.

"Both teams wanted to win, and there wasn't much football. There were a lot of stoppages, fouls, and yellow cards, so there wasn't much flow to the game," Arteta said, as quoted on Arsenal's official website on Monday.

"But obviously, after Caicedo's red card, we wanted to control the game. We didn't succeed; we ended up getting four more yellow cards," he continued.

Arteta admitted that this week has been a tough one for his team, considering the opponents they have faced.
