Chairman of Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Willy Aditya, stated that the 2025 National Human Rights Development Planning Conference or Musrenbang HAM is a manifestation of the Ministry of Human Rights' translation of President Prabowo Subianto's Astacita.
In the first point of Astacita, it reads "Strengthening the ideology of Pancasila, democracy, and human rights (HAM)", which emphasizes the importance of maintaining Pancasila as the foundation of the state, advancing democracy, and upholding human rights in Indonesia.
"Don't forget, President Prabowo placed strengthening human rights in line with the ideology of Pancasila and democracy in his first Astacita (Astacita). Of course, there's an important meaning that the Ministry must translate," Willy said in a statement received.
Therefore, he responded positively to the Ministry of Human Rights, which plans to hold a National Human Rights Musrenbang on December 8-10, 2025, to ensure human rights-based national development.
Willy also pushed for the protection and fulfillment of human rights to be discussed in the 2025 National Human Rights Musrenbang.
The implementation of the Human Rights Musrenbang, he said, further demonstrates President Prabowo's commitment to human rights.
"I hope this momentum will be used to its fullest potential to construct an outlook for the promotion, protection, and fulfillment of human rights in Indonesia," said the head of the House of Representatives commission overseeing law, human rights, immigration, corrections, and counterterrorism.
