Dewa United retains Jordan Adams for the 2026 IBL season

Dewa United Banten Basketball has retained one of its foreign players, Jordan Adams, who has been entrusted with being the main driving force in their mission to defend their IBL title in 2026 and face the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Asia agenda.

"I still feel like I can give more. I want to continue helping this team grow, and of course, win another title," Adams said, as quoted on the official IBL website in Jakarta on Thursday.

Since joining the team in 2024, the former Memphis Grizzlies player emerged as Dewa United's most prolific scorer last season, averaging 23.3 points per game. His contributions were also consistent across the board, including 7.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.

His shooting accuracy is among the highest in the Indonesian basketball league, with 58.6 percent shooting from two-point range, 41.1 percent from three-point range, and 81.1 percent from free throws. These figures reinforce his role as the team's primary offensive weapon.

Adams's role became even more pronounced in the 2025 IBL final against Pelita Jaya Jakarta, where he averaged 29.7 points per game, including a 40-point performance in the deciding match. He also contributed seven rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game in the series.
