The women's MLBB national team advanced to the final of the IESF WEC 2025.

  The Indonesian women's Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) national esports team advanced to the upper bracket final of the IESF World Esports Championship (WEC) 2025 after defeating Cambodia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday.

The men's MLBB team also put in a brilliant performance, dominating the match by defeating Romania in the Group C match.

"Today, the athletes demonstrated discipline, a winning mentality, and mature game coordination. This victory is important, but the challenges ahead will be even tougher," said Indonesian national esports team head coach Richard Permana in a written statement received in Jakarta.

In the upper bracket semifinal playoff match, the women's MLBB national team successfully defeated Cambodia with a clean sweep of 2-0.

This result secured Srikandi Esports Indonesia's place in the upper bracket final. They will face Egypt.

With consistent gameplay and a strong competitive mentality, the women's MLBB national team continues to maintain its hopes of bringing home the championship title again.
