Netanyahu's plane to the United States crosses the airspace of three member states of the International Criminal Court.
According to data from the Flightradar24 website, the Wings of Zion plane carrying Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, left Israel in the morning and arrived in the Atlantic Ocean.
The plane took a different route than the one Netanyahu used last September when he traveled to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly meetings.
Despite the International Criminal Court issuing an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, the plane passed through the airspace of Greece, Italy and France, which are parties to the Rome Statute, before reaching the Atlantic Ocean.
In previous visits, Netanyahu had avoided entering the airspace of many countries for fear of arrest, but during his trip to New York last September, he used the airspace of Greece and Italy, and did not enter French airspace.
On November 21, 2024, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the official Hebrew Broadcasting Authority said that Netanyahu, his wife Sara, and their accompanying delegation had set off "on a political visit to the state of Florida."
Netanyahu’s office released the schedule for the visit, which begins Monday with a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, followed by a meeting with Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort at 22:30 Jerusalem time (20:30 GMT).
The office did not disclose the agenda for the second day of the visit on Tuesday, while the Hebrew newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported that this day may witness a meeting with US Vice President J.D. Vance .
Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with American evangelical officials on Wednesday, before later attending an event at the Sholl Synagogue in Miami with his wife, which will be attended by members of Congress and Jewish community leaders, according to a statement from his office.
On Thursday, Netanyahu is scheduled to leave and return to Tel Aviv, where he will arrive on Friday afternoon.
Gaza will top the agenda of the Netanyahu-Trump meeting, including the transition to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
On October 9, Israel and Hamas reached a two-stage ceasefire agreement in Gaza, mediated by Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, based on a 20-point plan proposed by Trump to end the war.
The following day the first phase came into effect, but Israel violated it hundreds of times and did not fully comply with its terms, especially those related to the humanitarian aspect and the entry of aid, despite Hamas’s full commitment, which led to the martyrdom of more than 400 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
Israel is conditioning the start of negotiations to launch the second phase of the agreement on receiving the body of the last captive in Gaza, Ran Gafili, while Hamas confirms that it may take time to retrieve it due to the massive destruction in Gaza.
The agreement ended a war of extermination that Israel began on October 8th of last year and lasted for two years, leaving more than 71,000 Palestinian martyrs and more than 171,000 wounded, and massive destruction that affected 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
In addition  to the Gaza issue, Netanyahu is scheduled to discuss with Trump issues related to Syria, Lebanon and Iran, amid escalating talk in the Hebrew media about Israeli preparations to attack them again under the pretext of Tehran developing its ballistic missile program.

Last June, Israel, with American support, launched a 12-day war on Iran, which Tehran retaliated against before the United States announced a ceasefire.
