  PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim), as part of the Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company, has sold 836 thousand tons of fertilizer through the One Day Promotion (ODP) program which was successfully held in 10 provinces in Indonesia.

The program is part of a series of events to celebrate Pupuk Kaltim's 48th anniversary and is also a concrete effort by the company to increase fertilizer affordability for farmers.

In his statement in Jakarta, Friday, Pupuk Kaltim's Director of Finance & General Affairs, Qomaruzzaman, said that ODP is one of the company's strategic steps in supporting the government's priority program to achieve national food self-sufficiency.

"Through this program, we want to make it easier for farmers to access non-subsidized fertilizer to support agricultural productivity," he said.

The One Day Promotion (ODP) program, which runs from November 16 to December 5, 2025, involves a network of kiosks and official distribution partners. It involves direct product sales to farmers.

The event is located at 48 points spread across 10 provinces, including North Sumatra, Riau, Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, East Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan.

In this program, Pupuk Kaltim provides a variety of non-subsidized fertilizer products tailored to the commodity needs and characteristics of each region.

A number of products offered in the program include Urea Nitrea Fertilizer, Fruit Leaf Fertilizer, Plus Microbial Fruit Leaf Urea Fertilizer, Pelangi NPK Fertilizer, JOS NPK Fertilizer, Ecofert Biological Fertilizer, and Biodex Biodecomposer.

Through the program, he said, every purchase of at least 20 kilograms (kg) of each product entitles one coupon to be drawn on the day of the event. This strategy has proven effective in attracting farmer enthusiasm, with total sales reaching 836,000 tons of fertilizer during the program's run.

In addition to direct sales, the company also presents the East Kalimantan Fertilizer Product Exhibition which is held in 7 of the 10 provinces where the ODP is being implemented.

Qomaruzzaman explained that the exhibition not only aims to introduce a variety of superior products, but also to open up a space for dialogue between farmers and Pupuk Kaltim agronomists.
