Thailand is ready to welcome athletes and officials from 10 Southeast Asian countries as they arrive at the airport and check in to their accommodations.
Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) Governor Kongsak Yodmanee said that Thailand, as the host of the 33rd SEA Games scheduled to take place on December 9–20, 2025, is committed to creating a positive and memorable experience for all visiting delegates.
"SEA Games athletes and officials are considered honored guests of our country, and they will be welcomed warmly and cordially," Kongsak said, as quoted from the official SEA Games 2025 website on Tuesday.
"At the same time, we have prepared thousands of police officers, both uniformed and plainclothes, to ensure their safety, from arrival at the airport to accommodation and the match venue."
As the host of the 33rd SEA Games, Thailand deployed thousands of police to maintain security during the event.
