The Central Java Provincial Government is collaborating with the British Government to strengthen logistics infrastructure, public transportation, and the development of transit-oriented areas in the region.
Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi, in Semarang, Friday, said that the UK is the right strategic partner in accelerating Central Java's development, especially in the logistics sector and inter-regional connectivity.
He conveyed this after receiving a delegation from the British Embassy and the Techne Praxis International team in Semarang City.
According to him, the meeting was a follow-up to the discussion between the Governor of Central Java and the British Ambassador in October 2025.
"So, England is the right place for us to explore, especially regarding the development of a dry port (port terminal)," said the former Central Java Police Chief.
