"The investigation took place at the West Kalimantan Regional Police on behalf of AR, a member of the West Kalimantan Regional People's Representative Council," said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta, Thursday.
In addition, Budi said the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) summoned ES as a housewife, EDP as a notary, and II as an employee of a private company as witnesses in the case.
Previously, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) said it had named three people as suspects in the alleged corruption case involving the Mempawah PUPR Service, consisting of two state officials and a private individual.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) also searched 16 locations in Mempawah, Sanggau, and Pontianak Regencies in connection with the investigation of the case, namely on April 25–29, 2025.
From the search, the Corruption Eradication Committee confiscated a number of documents and electronic evidence.
However, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has not yet announced any details regarding this case, including the suspects and the modus operandi.
Meanwhile, West Kalimantan Governor Ria Norsan was also summoned by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) as a witness in the case on August 21, 2025.
