The Indonesian women's national tennis team advanced to the semifinals of the women's team event at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand after defeating Laos in the quarterfinals with a final score of 3-0 on Wednesday.
Competing at the National Tennis Development Center, Nonthaburi, Indonesian representative Priska Nugroho successfully secured a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory over Siana Macdonald in the first match to take a 1-0 lead.
In the second match, Indonesia's top seed Janice Tjen faced Malaylack Delilah Pathumma Kuronen.
The born tennis player widened the gap to 2-0 for Indonesia by recording a 6-2, 7-5 victory over the top seed from Laos.
In the third match, it was Aldila Sutjiadi and Priska's moment to strengthen Indonesia's dominance over Laos.
Aldila/Priska defeated Aliyah Vongdala/Siana 6-0, 6-2 to secure a place in the semifinals of the women's team event at the 2025 SEA Games.
