Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir expressed gratitude that the Indonesian contingent began winning gold medals on the second day of their campaign at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand."Thank God, Indonesia has won its first gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games in taekwondo," Erick Thohir wrote on his social media page, which was monitored.
Erick said that taekwondo athletes Muhammad Rizal, Muhammad Hafizh Fachrul Rhazy, and Muhammad Alfi Kusuma succeeded in winning gold medals in the men's recognized poomsae team category.
The Minister of Youth and Sports also congratulated the athletes who won gold medals for the Red and White in the largest multi-sport event in Southeast Asia.
