Sabar/Reza added points for Indonesia in the men's team final
Indonesian men's doubles pair Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani added points for the Red and White badminton team to 2-0 in the men's team final of the 2025 SEA Games after defeating Malaysian pair, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, with a score of 21-12, 21-12.

Playing in the second match at Gymnasium 4, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Wednesday, Sabar/Reza immediately put on pressure from the start of the first game.

The fast-paced playing style they employed made it difficult for Chia/Soh to keep up with the tempo, until the Indonesian pair managed to pull away and close the game with a 21-12 victory.

Entering the second game, Sabar/Reza regained control of the match. They led 11-5 at halftime and continued to maintain pressure on their opponents

The lead then widened to 18-11 before Sabar/Reza secured a 21-12 victory.

This result puts Indonesia temporarily ahead 2-0 over Malaysia, after Alwi Farhan successfully scored a point in the first match after defeating Leong Jun Hao 21-12, 21-19.

Indonesia needs just one more win to secure the men's team gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games.

Until this news was revealed, Muhammad Zaki Ubaidillah's men's singles was facing Hoh Justin.
