In her statement Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid explained that the information channel is a form of the government's commitment to providing a sense of security for the public.
The Ministry of Transportation predicts that at least 119.50 million people will crowd land, sea, and air routes across the archipelago.
"Through Mudikpedia Nataru, we want to ensure that every citizen has equal, accurate, and real-time access to information right in their hands. We want to minimize the risk of people falling prey to hoaxes or becoming confused amidst heavy traffic," said Meutya.
