The women's MLBB national team will use the IESF WEC 2025 title as capital for the SEA Games.
The Indonesian women's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) national esports team is using its championship title at the 2025 IESF World Esports Championship (WEC) as a key asset in preparing for the 2025 SEA Games.

One of the players, Vivi "Vivian" Indrawaty, said that the victory in the world event provided a clear picture of the strengths and characteristics of the opponent's game.

"Yes, you could say that because we can see their gameplay , which heroes they are good at, and which heroes they bring out, so we can get some clues," said Vivian.

However, he added that the Philippines remains one of the most difficult teams to predict as they did not appear in the IESF WEC 2025 after failing to qualify in the qualifying stage.

Regarding the potential strength of the host nation, Thailand, Vivian admitted that they still don't have the latest picture, considering they won't be participating in the IESF WEC 2025. However, he believes the support of the host nation's fans will make Thailand perform more enthusiastically.

"We don't know about the Philippines because we didn't meet them yesterday, and they didn't play. If they're the hosts, they'll definitely want to win," Vivian said.

Vivian also stated that competing in the SEA Games will present unique challenges. However, he sees Cambodia, their opponent in the IESF WEC 2025 final, as a strong contender worth wary of.
