Indonesia's wrestling team added a silver and a bronze medal after competing in the men's category at the Pacific Park Shopping Center Sricacha, Chonburi, on Friday.
The silver medal was won by the 74 kilogram freestyle wrestler, Gilang Ilhazah, while the bronze medal was won by Zainal Abidin in the 57 kilogram freestyle class.
Gilang opened his group stage campaign with a 3-1 victory over Filipino wrestler Dargani Michael Andre. He then defeated Thailand's Chamnanjan Parinya 4-0.
In the next two preliminary matches, Gilang lost 0-4 to Vietnam's Can Tat Du before defeating Amaral Manuel Baptista 5-0. The round-robin format of the competition meant Gilang earned the silver medal with three wins and one loss.
