Xiaomi is reportedly set to launch the Watch 5 this week, one of its new high-end wearable devices to date.
As reported by Gsmarena on Tuesday local time, the Xiaomi Watch 5 features a stainless steel casing and sapphire crystal over its display, both of which are standard materials for high-end analog watches.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 will also be equipped with an EMG (electromyography) sensor, which is used to detect electrical signals generated by the user's muscles.
This feature can be used to enable gesture navigation such as flicking the wrist or tapping fingers in the air, and the like. EMG can also be used to analyze muscle fatigue.
