Almost fit, Yusaku Yamadera will soon return to play for PSIM
Japanese defender Yusaku Yamadera will soon return to play for PSIM Yogyakarta in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition after his condition is almost fit, according to PSIM team doctor Hansel.

Yusaku has been sidelined for Laskar Mataram's last three matches due to injury. He last featured in the PSIM squad for the away match against Persijap Jepara on December 23, 2025, where he was only a substitute.

"Yusaku's progress is good, his fitness is almost 100 percent. He's been training with the team. So, hopefully, he can return to the field soon," said Hansel of the defender who has appeared in 14 matches for PSIM, as quoted from the club's official website on Thursday.

Not only Yusaku, but Hansel also revealed the condition of Harlan Suardi and Andy Irfan. Both players are responding well to the recovery program, allowing them to join the team earlier than initially expected.

"Andy Irfan has also returned to training with the team. Fortunately, his injury was relatively minor, so he recovered quickly. As for Harlan, he's also been training with the team," Hansel added.

In addition to those names, the medical team is also monitoring the condition of Dede Sapari and Ghulam Fatkur Rahman, who complained of muscle pain during training. Both have now returned to training under the supervision of a fitness trainer.
