An Egyptian official: Egyptian civilization is the Jews' eternal obsession.
Magdi Shaker, a senior archaeologist at the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, said that Egyptian civilization represents the "eternal complex of the Jews," based on the Jewish psychologist Sigmund Freud.
The Egyptian official added in televised remarks that Freud attributed this complex to the fact that the Jews “did not find any role for themselves in creating this civilization,” noting that global Zionism “began to throw all sorts of accusations at ancient Egyptian civilization, after they failed to find any role for themselves in creating it.”

In response to the video circulating showing rainwater falling inside the lobby of the Grand Egyptian Museum in recent days, he said that the area where the rain appeared is an open service and reception area for visitors, designed to receive sunlight, natural air, and some rain.
He explained that the museum floor in this area has openings and passages to deliver and direct this water to the lake of the statue of King Ramses II, while the excess water is used to irrigate the five gardens in the museum.
He attributed the attacks on the Grand Egyptian Museum, more than any other archaeological project, to the fact that it is a "successful project," noting that expectations indicate receiving 5 to 7 million visitors annually.
