The chairman of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI), Michael Victor Sianipar, is confident that the Indonesian national futsal team will be able to give its best when competing in the 2026 Futsal Asia Cup, which will begin on January 27.
In the 2026 Asian Futsal Cup, Indonesia is in Group A with Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, and South Korea.
"Now we're at the Asian level. We certainly have high hopes. But we also have to consider that Indonesia's previous history in the Asian Cup (futsal) has been challenging," Michael said when met in Jakarta on Friday.
"But this time, we're the hosts. And preparations are top-notch. So, I'm optimistic we'll deliver a result that will make the community, the nation, and our supporters proud," he continued.
