Tiwi/Fadia were eliminated because they were carried away by their opponent's playing pattern.  Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti's women's doubles campaign was halted in the quarterfinals of the BWF World Tour Super 500 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2026 after losing control of the match in the second game.

Playing at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Friday, Tiwi/Fadia had to admit the superiority of the Japanese pair Arisa Igarashi/Miyu Takahashi with a score of 21-16, 11-21, 14-21.

Tiwi/Fadia actually put in a convincing performance in the first game. They controlled the tempo and put pressure on their opponents from the start to secure the opening game.

However, the situation changed in the second game when the Indonesian pair failed to maintain their own playing pattern and instead followed the tempo set by their opponents.

"In the second game, we were completely swept away by their playing style. In the first game, we had a clear grasp of the game, but in the second, we just played along with theirs and slowed down," Tiwi said after the match.

According to Tiwi, the change in tempo gave Igarashi/Takahashi room to find their rhythm again and dominate the points tally.
