Honor is preparing to launch its newest premium class thin and light cellphone, the Magic 8 Air, which is expected to be launched in China at the end of this month.
As reported by GSM Arena on Wednesday, the phone was first introduced through a post by Honor's President on the Weibo platform, which said the Magic 8 Air would combine the characteristics of the "Pro" and "Air" variants.
This is thought to refer to a combination of high performance and a thin, lightweight design, including the possible use of a flagship-class camera and a larger battery capacity than its competitors such as the iPhone Air and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.
A leaked visual, in the form of a schematic rendering shared by tech leaker UniverseIce, shows the Magic 8 Air's brushed aluminum back and a visor-shaped camera module, reminiscent of the Google Pixel series. However, the design is still illustrative and may change in the final product.
