Indonesian athletes won seven gold medals and two ASEAN Para Games (APG) records in para-swimming on the fourth day of the 2025 APG in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on Saturday.
"It was truly beyond expectations. Thank God, the children's enthusiasm continues to burn brightly every day. Many thanks to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Indonesian National Sports Committee (NPC) for this result," said Indonesian para-swimming coach Agni Herarta when contacted from Jakarta.
Indonesia's seven recent gold medals from swimming were contributed by Jendi Pangabean from the men's 50 meter butterfly S9 (record time 28.82 seconds) and the men's 200 meter medley SM9 (two minutes 36.33 seconds), Januari from the men's 50 meter freestyle S5 (33.74 seconds) and Siti Aisyah from the women's 200 meter backstroke S14 (two minutes 40.16 seconds).
