The Ministry of Communication and Digital has integrated 27,000 central and regional applications into the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) program.
The government has emphasized that the SPBE program is the main foundation of national digital governance, with its primary focus on integrating public services so that the public no longer faces separate and repetitive systems.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria stated that sectoral digitalization practices are no longer relevant. The government needs to unify systems so that public services operate within a single national architecture.
"Currently, there is a huge amount of application duplication, around 27,000, spread across all ministries and institutions, both central and regional. This presents a significant challenge for us to integrate into a single Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) program," said Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria in an official statement received
