Polda Metro Jaya has appealed to The Jakmania, Persija Jakarta supporters, not to come to the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium in Bandung, West Java, to watch the Persib vs Persija match live on Sunday, January 11, 2026."We are providing support, without coming to the stadium, in connection with the Persib vs. Persija match on January 11, 2026, at the GBLA Stadium, Bandung," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto in his statement in Jakarta, Friday.
According to him, the appeal is based on the applicable regulations regarding the prohibition on the presence of visiting team supporters at away matches.
"This is in accordance with the regulations prohibiting visiting team supporters at away matches , which are still in effect, and is to ensure everyone's safety and comfort," said Budi.
Therefore, he also invited Persija supporters to continue to provide support for their favorite team in a more mature, peaceful, and dignified manner without having to come directly to the GBLA Stadium.
"Support your favorite team in a mature, peaceful, and dignified manner for the sake of safe and sportsmanlike Indonesian football," said Budi.
