Premier League standings: MU in fourth place, Arsenal at the top
  Manchester United shot up to fourth place in the Premier League standings in week 23 with 38 points.

The Red Devils earned an additional three points when they beat Arsenal 3-2 in a match that took place at the Emirates Stadium, London, Monday morning WIB.

The result also further heated up the title race as Arsenal, who are currently at the top of the table with 50 points, are only four points behind Manchester City and Aston Villa, who are in second and third place respectively.

The Citizens secured a convincing victory in week 23, beating bottom-of-the-table Wolves by two goals to nil.

Then Aston Villa also secured victory after defeating hosts Newcastle United with a score of 2-0.

Another positive result was obtained by Chelsea, who pocketed three full points when they beat hosts Crystal Palace, 3-1.

The victory brought The Blues to fifth place with a total of 37 points.
