Starting the 2026 BWF calendar, Putri KW immediately secured a ticket to the last 16 of the 2026 Malaysia Open after defeating Japanese singles player Manami Suizu in two straight games 21-8, 21-16 in the match at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Wednesday.
"I want to improve even more than last year. I want to play more consistently and use strategies," said Putri KW, as quoted by PBSI.
