The original World Cup trophy was displayed at the Jakarta International Convention Center on Thursday, as part of the trophy's tour of more than 75 cities around the world.The World Cup trophy tour will visit FIFA's 30 member associations, spanning over 150 days from January 3. Fans will have the opportunity to see the prestigious trophy.
"We can feel the energy of the nation; we can see that football is truly a passion of the Indonesian people. From the existence of local football tournaments to the strong support for the national team, this is evidence of their passion, which we cannot deny," said Selman Careaga, President of ASEAN and South Pacific for The Coca-Cola Company, at a press conference at the Jakarta International Convention Center on Thursday.
Carbonated beverage manufacturer Coca-Cola is one of the main sponsors of the World Cup, including the 2026 World Cup.
