Uganda: Museveni's son says he 'prays for Bobi Wine's death'

Ugandan military leader asks Bobi Wine, fugitive opposition leader, to surrender. Muhoozi Kainerugaba said he was praying for the presidential candidate's death. He gave him 48 hours to go to the police following the controversial election on January 15.

Former pop star Bobi Wine said he fled a military raid on his home hours before incumbent President Yoweri Museveni was declared the landslide winner of last week's presidential election.

Wine, who finished second, denounced widespread fraud during the vote. He has issued several statements since Saturday from secret locations.

Military leader Muhoozi Kainerugaba is also the son of President Yoweri Museveni, proclaimed winner of a seventh term.

Remaining discreet during his father's electoral campaign, he broke his silence to threaten Bobi Wine with death after the latter announced that he was not taking legal action to contest his defeat.
